    Shooting Mechanics: Focus on the “BEEF” principle—Balance, Eyes on the target, Elbow in, Follow-through. Keep your shooting elbow tucked in, and extend your arm fully towards the basket with a flick of the wrist upon release.

    Shot Selection: Know your strengths as a shooter and play to them. Work on a variety of shots, including layups, mid-range jumpers, and three-pointers, to keep defenders guessing.

    Practice, Practice, Practice: Shooting is a skill that requires repetition and consistency. Spend time honing your shot mechanics through drills and simulated game scenarios to develop muscle memory and confidence.

    Passing:

    Basketball is a team sport, and passing is the lifeblood that keeps the offense flowing. A skilled passer can thread the needle with precision, setting up teammates for scoring opportunities. Here’s how to become a proficient passer:

    Communication: Effective passing begins with communication. Signal your intention to pass with verbal cues or hand signals to ensure your teammate is ready to receive the ball.

    Proper Technique: Use both hands to pass the ball, employing chest passes, bounce passes, overhead passes, and wrap-around passes as needed. Keep your passes crisp and on target, leading your teammate into space whenever possible.

    Court Vision: Develop your peripheral vision to see the entire court and anticipate openings before they happen. Look for cutters, spot-up shooters, and open lanes to create scoring chances for your team.

    Passing under Pressure: Practice passing against defensive pressure to simulate game situations. Stay calm under duress, using fakes and misdirection to create passing lanes and evade defenders.
